Took my GRE on the 18th of November and did just ok. Got 490 in verbal and 740 in Quant. I messed up on the verbal section as I was left with around 9 minutes to spare after I completed the section. Mid way I thought I was not doing well with the time and so sped up :-(

For those yet to take the GRE, without doing the word list and ample practise on the verbal part u will end up with a poor or average verbal score like I did.

If anyone is interested in my material let me know. I am located in Ahmedabad, India.

Congrats Salil. As Synthia said, great Q score. And if you are a computer science student, I don't think Verbal score will matter much.

I will be trying to admission to Computer Science / Information Technology / MIS / Telecommunication or related fields. Got a verbal dummy section and inbetween I felt that I ws going too slow. So spent less time per question after that and in the end was left with 10 minutes for 2 questions :-(

neway m glad that GRE is over :-) Did anyone on the forum try the Diagnostic service offered by ETS ? I did.

ETS offers a enhanced diagnostic service for US $ 15 which gives a feedback on your performance after you answer some sample questions. Quant section has some 6 sections with around 10 questions in each while verbals has 2 sections with around a total of 40 questins. Your performance is not a numeric score but how you fared in relatin with other test takers. you can access the service from http://grediagnostic.ets.org
