I am siddhartha
I gave my gre on 12 dec and scored q 760 v 520 I am not happy with he score .can any body throw light if this score can fetch me admission in electrical engineering in the US at any of the engineering schools there .
Or should i consider retaking the test .
I am intrested in ohio state univ and the north carolina state univ .Please throw some light on this issue

Thats a good score. I got 1290 (q-780/q-510). Try out the City colleges. Try some collges in California, Tennesse, Illinois, Alabama, Texas.
Keep going u will get it. I am also trying my bit.

I think Ohio State University requires Subject test. Just check it out. Be quick. Deadline is 15th Jan fore fall.

Congrats Sid, that's indeed a very decent score and u can get into a good school....Anyway, GRE is not the only thing that'll make or break ur application!! Its only a minor part of ur app packet...

Statement of purpose and recommendation letters are also an important part of your application.
Application might not be judged just on the basis of the GRE score.
i think retaking the test should be considered after ample preparation only.
meanwhile you could apply with these scores
