thanx to all
i want to say to all the candidates that don't take quant lightly.i have seen some of the posts.the quant if not tough is not very easy too.they really confuse you.
i want to do MS in comp science.should i take the gre cs?
also if i shift from the electronics to comp science then will my chan\es will be affected because of switching the course or stream?
anybody please .
also if anybody has any prob in quant then feel free to ask me.don't ask me abt the verbal i also don't know how i got that score?
Hello gagan, great score, congrazz... I agree with you that quant tends to be taken lightly by people especially engineering guys in India and that can hurt sometimes... Moreover, it seems to me they are making it tougher by the day...
If you wish to change your stream, you must demostrate a clear aptitude for CS in your undergrad studies... and also your SOP should mention very cogently your reasons for the proposed change ("CS guys get more bucks" is *not* cogent)...
This can be done by 1 - Taking the AGRE
2 - Getting a recommender to speak about your CS abilites
Ideally, you should do both... if you get 800+ in AGRE then you can get in anywhere you like...
best,
Attraxion.
