hello....
i am very disappointed with my performance......400 verbal and 700 quant....writing was relatively good......some people told me its an average score.....my TOEFL score is satisfactory.....230-290.....i am totally confused .....please help me.....should i retake the test or should i apply with the same score????

Yogi, dont worry !! Ur score is not all that bad...Besides for a CS major quant is more important than verbal....Also, ur GPA, SoP and LORs have a major role in ur admission process.....So stay focused and go ahead with ur app process....

1100 is a decent score. As sri said for CS quantitative score matters more than verbal, n Gre is just a part of the application, don't feel dejected. i also went through the same situation n i m going to apply with my present score only.
Cheer up n start ur application procedure as deadline is coming nearer.

Thank you guys......one more problem......i am quite confused about how the unives are going to valuate AWA scores.....????....my GPA is quite good .....and where can i find resources for writing SOP???

Yogi, u can find ample resources on the web to write a SoP...That's what I did for mine...Just do a google search with words "Personal Statements" or "Statement of Purpose" and u'll get a lot of pointers from various career centers as to how to go about ur SoP.....
