i have scored 940 in GRE 600Q 340 V. i am interested in doing Phd in genetics or molecular biology but have scored below average what should i do .retake the exam or apply with the same score.

Any sort of Reply regarding this would be a great help.

Hey there,

I'm no expert in Bio, but u better get in touch with Univ Profs. for the kinds of scores that they require for PHD programs. I believe u may get scholarship easier for a PHD, but i'm not too sure if this kind of score can cut it.

I would suggest u get to the root cause of the performance-issue in the test and take another crack at it. (U definitely did better in the math part).
