Do I Really Stand A Chance

hey.First of all, i ve to thank you for this very informative site .
I will be completing engineering this july and i dont have a very good academic record .i ve only 58% aggregate from four years .so ,do i really stand a chance of getting admission in a decent college in america if i get a good score in GRE.I am really confident of getting a good score in GRE .I also got 1400 when i took powerprep yesterday and i still have three more months to prepare for gre .I am planning to take date on july 28th.
so if i do stand a chance ,please gimme a list of colleges where i have a chance .thanx in advance.

I think you have a good chance especially if you get 800Q. Good luck and try to get as high a score as you can.May be the difference between getting in or getting dinged. The 58% will hurt but just try and make other parts of your application stand out to compensate for it.
