hello everybody

i gave my xam today n it was a disaster for especially th quant part where i was pretty confident of scorin 800 . i messed up in graphs where icud not interpret the graph.

anyways ,i have some questions regardin appin. i am an engineer in Electrical and Electronics and wanting to pursue my MS in computer science.and i am plannin to apply to

1) Uni of Texas - Dallas
2) Arizona State Uni - tempe .

cud i make it to them with these scores . i am also a student from india. plz can anybody help me out

i do not remember any questions coz they were 5-10liners in maths and they jus kept mounting on after the 15th question where i lost some time.i am working now and have a 1 yr exp.

can i get thru to these universities.

dude... i dont know much abt Electronics but i know in overall rankings dallas UT is 83 n Arizona is 43... so think abt it.. probably Arizona is not all that easy man!! but again there is no definite way for u to say it... because if u have a good profile.. i mean good grades in Engg.. good paper prsentations... ppl wont really care that much abt ur GRE... also ur AWA scores matter for funding!!!!

so try n make use of ur experience in the feild... n get some good recos... then apply... there is a good chance u can make it... may b into both....

so dont worry... but hey just try for 1 more pakka univ naa...it will give u lotsa safety... anyways all the best n keep me posted on ur admits

i have been workin for 1yr now in a software concern and my engineering grades are 75%. which i do not know how much it makes to in cgpa. cud u give more clear cut view now .

i'm pretty sure you'll be alright, that score isn't disasterous at all. just work on your SOP and recommendations and some pubs etc. and you'll have just as much chance as everyone else!
