Hi kapoor1,

Congrats! That's is indeed a very good score from you.

Can you please tell your method of preparation for the Verbal section & the essays. Which books/materials/websites/etc did you refer to? Did you learn by heart all the words on the WL's?? Also, what kind of questions did you encounter in the Verbal and Math section of the exam? Anything unusual on the exam that you think you would like to share?

congrats man for a great score !!!..please tell me how wass the quant section??? i have been hearingthat quant has gone tougher ?? can you tell me how many q's you got form probability, Coorodinate geo., Permutaion-combination and stats and which book to refer for all these topics ???

Hi everyone!


Its true that quant is no longer as easy as it used to be.I was able to finish the last question just 2 minutes before the time.Probability question was not difficult but slightly tricky.I think there were 1 or 2 quetions about mean,median,mode.


Basically the questions were time-consuming specially the DI.I simply guessed when I found the time running away.Co-ordinate question was straight-forward.

Go through the material given in powerprep CD and Barron's.That's enough.
You should be strong in your concepts and guess if you are running out of time.





As far as essays are concerned,I think one should be ready with one' own arsenal of examples.Go through all the topics at least once and think of at least 3-4 arguments/examples for or agianst the topic.Also, practice writing essays under timed conditions ( at least 4-5).It helps alot.
