Hi everyone

I just finished my GRE a week ago ( ref. post (Took GRE Yesterday:Score:1400--720Q 680V)Took GRE Yesterday:Score:1400--720Q 680V ). I learnt about the GRE diagnostic Service which you can use to check how you have fared on various questions on the CAT. The service asks for a GRE regn no that is printed on the score report. Now is there anyway by which I can get to know my regn no. before my score report arrives. Should I call ETS? If yes, what is the number? Is there any fee involved?

Please help...

i read about it, and what i inferred from it is that there is no way of obtaining the registration number prior to receipt of the score card. It comes along with the score card. And no, there is no fee for using the service.

If you haven't received your official score report, you can call ETS at 1-866-473-4373 as early as 8 am US eastern time on weekdays only. Then i think I pressed 8 to speak to the operator and asked them for the registration number.

Actually they can give the registration number after you register for the test. I got my second registeration number when I called them even before I take the second test. But after you have the number, you may not be able to check your report. I think it takes about 10 business days until your report is in the online system. There's no fee, but if you call from other countries outside the US, you may have to pay for international call. Good luck
