Hello friends

Someone asked me privately about my experience in writing section. I hope my reply would also be useful for others.

Basically I used the following format:

I. Introduction- hook (to capture readers attention),general info, theis statement

II. Body- sub-point 1, sub point 2, optional sub-point 3

easch sub point has topic sentence,details supporting the topic sentence,last sentence to relate the topic sentence to the thesis statement.

III. conclusion- paragraphrase the thesis,summary of the view point,general final statement/comment

Moreover, try to work on building your vocabulary daily. I used this websites and it can help you GRE Word List. Free, Download, gre vocabulary, gre dictionary and TOEFL WORD LIST

Finally practice a lot following the format. you can use this link if you need topics to write on Journal of TOEFL Writing

I thought I have said almost all the useful experiences I have. How is your pronouciation? have you worked enugh on that. I have used some videos on you tube to learn how to pronounce vowels.

u are simply great....i took toefl on 9th may....i need 26 in speaking...i found the environment during exam very disturbing....seems like i wouldnt score 26 in speaking.

i passed fpgee in dec 2008. and without passing toefl, i cannot even start internship.

How would you take naplex before finishing 1500 hours of internship?

Congratulation!.. You are so great! Iam very admire you because you can get success in the first attempt . You know, I wish I will get high score like you...
I really want to take the real test but I can not now... busy for working, for the second degree at university.... But the specific reason is I can not make a schedule for preparing.
May be you have just spent a lot of time to prepare and you also have a lot of experiences.
Can you help me to arrange the reasonable time to make the plan for studying... My grade is 620 TOEIC in 2007... it's so long, isn't it?
