I'd like to know how they incorporate our essay scores into the final score, i.e. how they scale it up and add it to the lower bound of the score "range" that we get following the completion of the test to obtain the final score. Hermione Posted September 25, 2005 Share Posted September 25, 2005 I think its like this: (not so sure... but it worked for me) the essay score out of 6 is multiplied by 3 and added to your lower bound of the structure score range. say your range is 13-30 (the maximum, when you get all the structure ques right) and if you get a 5 (say) in your essay your final score in structure will be 27.
