Congratulations, great, how you got 30 in speaking .First time heard of full score in speaking, great. Can you please give some tips to get such a score. How you practised for integrated speaking tasks. Thanks in advance
Hi,
did my TOEFL iBT on 5th May. I am a German. Found reading much harder than in the Barron's book and the high noise level in the test center made it hard to concentrate in general. I did not have a too good feeling after I left the test center. Anyway, went quite nice
Reading: 29
Listening: 28
Speaking: 30
Writing: 24
TOTAL: 111

Well, ironically I practised the least for speaking. I just did three or four speaking tests from the barron's CD. Did not like too much to talk to my computer
I basically just followed the instructions on the screen like "give a brief overview to the topic and then suggest something blabla". So I just paraphrased it in my own words, and gave my comment to the situation.
The writing was strange: The integrated task, I found quite nice what I wrote there and really did not like what I wrote in the 2nd part, the essay. But I got a higher score in the esssay than in the integrated writing task. I don't get how they rate it.
What I can suggest for reading is, to find a book with hard texts. I found the texts in the actual tests significantly harder than in Barron's. The ETS book is way too easy anyway. And also the answers are closer together in meaning, so that it is often not so easy to exclude two or three possibilities immediately.
