How can I overcome the noise in TSE?

Hello/everyone
Can anyone help me?
I got 40 in TSE but my level is higher than that.
the only problem that I had is that all test takers speak loudly at the same time and I coud not concentrate to answer I will take TSE again but I do not know how I can speak in old fashion cassett with these noise. I have to plug my ears or what?
