Why people use Twitter? What motivates people to use Twitter? Any ideas? It’s about news or comments?

hi there..to give my own definition or rather..reasons
why I've been using Twitter..

actually, i have just made an account about 2 weeks i think..
and the reason why, is that it's popular now..and I don't wanna
be left out in the crowd...and knowing I've got these blogs..
I wanted to share it among other twitter members...

and i love the simplicity of that networking site..
no wonder why, many loves it too..
I belong....

The same reason they post dozens of pictures of themselves on Myspace and Facebook. It's for attention and because these sites give them an ego boost.
