53 Bicycles: another riddle to solve!

Okay guys, here's a riddle my little brother asked me a few years ago. Again, you can arrive at the answer of the riddle by asking yes/no questions, in the classic spirit of this type of game.

Here's the riddle:

In a room we see a dead man and 53 Bicycles. What happened?

If you know it, please don't spoil it, okay? Otherwise, I await your questions!

Did the man die because of bicycle(s)?
Are all 53 bicycles in good condition?

Were there other persons in that room before the man die?
Is the man thief?

Oh I like this kind of riddle so much, but I only knew one, which is the one about the cowboy . I answered it correctly but after nearly a week :o !

Here're my questions:

1. Is it important when you capitalized letter 'B' in '53 Bicyles'?
2. Is '53 Bicycles' a name? of a book? a film? a person ?
3. Is that man a normal man like us?
4. Is the death of the man related to the Bicycles?
5. Is number 53 important to things that happened?

"because of"? Yes, you could say that. If you mean, however, that they were the "instrument" of his death, then I'd have to say no.

'53 Bicycles' is not a name. But notice that if "53 Bicycles" were a name, I would have written the question "There is 53 Bicycles in the room..."

2. Were 53 Bicycles brought into the room before his death?
3. Was the room the man's? Or the other persons'?
4. Were the Bicycles the man's? Or the other persons'?
5. Did the man kill himself? Or was he killed by the other persons'?

(6.) Am I correct to use the past tense above ?

The answer to all these questions is... it doesn't really matter. There's some other "trick" here.
