bigduke
I got this link from somewhere. Wonder how accurate it is. http://www.usastudyguide.com/_disc4/000002e7.htm
sc_myNemesis
bigduke, this is not meant towards you but towards the link you referred in the earlier msg. It's weird. So Universities that inflate %ages in 90's have students with really high GPA's.

RhymeConveyer
Ok I'm confused. Allow me to quote a part of the text.. (A rough equivalence of the percentage score multiplied by the GPA can be got as 4x x/85. For example, if your percentage score is 75, it is roughly equivalent to 4 x 75/85 =3000/85 = 3.53) Ok so what if the percentage was 95%? 4 x 95/85 = 4.47 Hmm... And what if the percentage is 85%? 4 x 85/85 = 4.0 woooooo, perfect GPA! Am I having one of those retarded math days or is the info given by that site bogus?? RhymeConveyer
bnm, Don't convert the % to GPA. When I was aksed (asked) for my GPA, I wrote down my percentage, and under it I wrote: *GPA system not supported in my school. They get the hint. bnm
thanks yaar... but i think that i'm going to apply online application..... where will i mention that the requried info,... bye.. take care
minud
No need to mention GPA on online application too. Before I applied to Alberta I asked those ppl and they told me write my total marks not percentages if I don't know my GPA Best thing is to drop a mail and ask the Uni........that way there will be no confusion.
