A school inspector was observing an English lesson at the school where I work. She was particularly interested in one girl's exercise book, where she'd read a poem of such "quality and emotion" that she felt she must share it with the class. It read: "Yesterday, Yesterday, Yesterday. Happiness, Happiness, Happiness. Today, Today, Today. Grief, Grief, Grief. Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow. Death, Death, Death." When the inspector had finished, the student who had written the words raised her hand and said, "Please, Miss, they're my spellings." - Graham Wilson, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Source: http://www.readersdigest.co.uk/mjoke...256AB60053056E Raghuveer. |
