I happened to visit the website of Reader's Digest, where I found these ...

A colleague visited one of our customers to collect an old PC for disposal. As he stood holding it in the lift, he noticed a man looking at him a little strangely. "You should get yourself a laptop," suggested the man.

As a fast and busy typist I sometimes make errors. At the end of a letter to an important client, I typed: "If you would like to stay overnight, please contact me in order that I might make the necessary arrangements," but inadvertently inserted an extra "me" after "like". The next day my boss called me into his office and assured me I needn't go to such lengths in order to secure business for the firm.

A daydreaming pupil was stunned out of his trance-like state when our computer instructor interrupted to say, "Kevin, are you still with us?" Refocusing, Kevin replied, "Yes, sir. I was in screen-saver mode."

Fed up with his nephew boasting about how good he was at flight-simulator games, a colleague, who is a pilot, decided to give him a taste of the real thing and took him for a ride in Santa Barbara in his two-seater plane. At about 200 feet over the Californian countryside, my friend looked across to his nephew and asked what he thought so far. "Wow," replied the boy, "nice graphics."
