Reminds me of a good one that one of my young math prodigies told us. Just answer the questions... In your head is okay... Or, if you're a real "eager beaver," you could "reply with quote" and do it here...

Anyway, just answer these questions:

<ul>[*]What color is snow?[*]What is the most popular color of standard writing paper?[*]What color are clouds?[*]What do cows drink?[/list]
Got it?????

That's interesting. I guess that would make it hard for people who speak Telegu to miss that question!

When my student did this little joke on me, my first reaction was to say milk, but of course, I corrected myself.

Anyway, does "kudithi" mean water? Or do cows drink something else? Just curious...

Hi Erin,

You are just as curious whenever, wherever. isn't it?
"Kudithi" does not mean water, but it's a kind of cattle feed. (in Telugu. not Telegu).

And to satisfy your curiosity, here's is the definition (from the web, ofcourse) ...

farmers use moldy sorghum for cattle feed in the form of kudithi (a traditional semisolid cattle feed) along with starch water, maize (Zea mays L.), and pigeonpea (Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.) or horse gram (Macrotyloma uniflorum (Lam.) Verdc.) as protein supplements.

Hope that suffices.

If not, refer to the entire research article:

"Human and Animal Health Significance of Mycotoxins in Sorghum with Special Reference to Fumonisins"

from the ICRISAT web-site ...
http://www.icrisat.org/text/research...sgmm/chap5.htm

This SHOULD BE enough for any mortal.
