2 dilemmas

There are 2 ethical dilemmas:
1. Let’s say you know a woman, which is pregnant with 9th child. 3 her children died, 2 are blind and one is mentally diseased. Furthermore, she has syphilis. Would you suggest her doing an abortion?

2. It’s time to elect the President of the world and your vote will decide who becomes the President. There are 3 main candidates:
A. He had relations with corrupt politicians. He asks astrologers for advice. He has 2 mistresses. He smokes unbelievable amount of cigarettes every day and drinks from 8 AM. till 10 PM.
B. He had resigned two times. He smoked opium at school and now drinks a few litters of whiskey every evening.
C. He is well-know war veteran and vegetarian. Sometimes he drinks a few mugs of beer. He never had any suspicious relations.
Please, be honest choosing the candidate you would vote for.

Actually, for the first one, I thought that perhaps the woman would have better luck this time. For the second one, I chose #1 simply because he had relationships with politicians. Unfortunately, and this is probably a reflection of the sad state of politics or society as a whole, politicians need a certain ruthlessness to succeed. Jimmy Carter, our president before Reagan is a good example. He was a peace-loving man, but he was not able to inspire Americans.

Sad as it is, it just seems that people with connections are the ones who can get the most done.

But yes, you are right about corruption. It's just terrible for a country or a government, and it is so hard to get it out of the system once it's in there.

For the first one no abortion i thought. The second i chose candidate 3# ( [bomb]Adolph Hitler[bomb] ) Simply because he does not drink or never has had suspicious realationships. [}]

That one was just insulting. After all, if the only characteristics of those three were the ones listed below, I really don't think World War II would have happened.
