LSAT for English as second language

I am from foreign country; the type of test like LSAT is unusual for me because it doesn’t require any special knowledge. When I first open LSAT preparation book, I almost did not know English. Since when I have been studying on and off
between having 2 children, working, doing my own business… I was always quick learner (in my 26 I’ve had PhD. Physics), but the LSAT prep seems like takes TOO long. Logic games and logical reasoning are easy for me and were easy at the beginning, but reading comprehension was difficult and still difficult. Are any statistic or opinion that % (or that score) can you actually improve by practicing. Are the any advice to improve reading comp. What kind of magazines can I read in order to increase my English vocabulary for this part of test.
Thank you.
