Hi David,
Was going through your posts and I appreciate the effort you are putting in helping out prospective mba students. Even I am planning to apply for 2005 courses and am finding it a little difficult to make a selection. Hope u can help me out. Let me give you a brief about myself.. PostGraduate in IT GPA 3.85/4 Gradutation in MEchanical Engineering (3.5/4) GMAT score: 680 V-35 Q-48 AWA - 4.5 Work Ex: 3 yrs in IT (India) I have been very actively participating in extra curricular activities...from my schools days and that has continued till my post graduation. Have'nt really had experience in any leadership role here in my workplace as 3 yrs is a pretty short period to be in such a role. I have always had a interest in the Automotive Sector although I did not decide to go towards the technical side of the field after my graduation and instead moved towards IT. I am looking for a career change by pursuing MBA and what I am looking at is something related to the Autmobile Sector (Mostly get into some consulting/Strategy firm ......which provides consulting in this sector)... !! I am really confused as to which school I should apply for with the kind of exp and score I have ? Also is it a good idea to project what my plans are as I am not sure whether I am being very specific here!! Any advice from your side would be really helpful. Regards, Tushar |
