    Evaluate my profile please! Should I look for an MBA in USA?

    Hi!

    This is my profile:

    Age:26
    Nationality:Spanish
    Industrial/ Mechanical Engineer. GPA: low. In Spain gpa are low compared to other countries and B-schools do know this.
    One semester exchange in UK "Mechanical Engineer"
    Postgraduate in Management sponsored by the company that i am working.

    Toelf: 107
    GMAT : Not done. Expecting. 650-700

    Work experience:
    4 years full time work experience as Process engineer / Production Manager in Spain

    Extra - Curriculars:

    semi-professional Online Poker player during University (should I explain this??)

    I am interested in IESE - ESADE - INSEAD - LBS
    Do I have any chance in MIT- Columbia - Chicago Booth? ?

    You have provided limited information to provide any useful feedback. No opinion on any side can be given with confidence - because with this info - I can definitely say that you are not out of the race for all the top B-Schools but how likely it is - need more data points (rather more depth) about you

    The previous poster is correct. You do not give enough information to make a decent evaluation. The one highlight that I see in your stats is the fact that you have worked 4 years. That will work in your favor as you have more relevant experiences to draw from. This will help you especially when it comes to writing the essays which you will see is a MAJOR part of getting accepted to a great MBA program.

    If you're thinking about attending a US business school, I would suggest Babson College in Boston. They have a great reputation and it was a very competitive MBA pool while I was there. Not sure how your GPA would stack up in the US, but if you get the test scores you're expecting, I think applying to Babson would definitely be a good idea. Boston is a great educational city to live in. Best of luck!
