How good is Leavey?


Hi folks,

just wanted to kow how good is Leavey compared to Haas interms of recruitment, faculty and alumni network.

Leavey jumped to 11th rank, according to US News.

Are you looking on this page? I don't see it listed in the top 50.

Of course Haas is better, but I've been told that Leavey has a good reputation here in the Bay Area. I think Mariam knows a bit about that.

I know several people who went there including my husband. It's an excellent program. I think the general consensus is that while a degree from Leavey is very well respected in the the Bay area, outside this geographic area, Haas is better known. But as far as quality of education, you won't go wrong with either school.

PS: I bet it's #11 as far as part time programs are concerned. I don't think they mix full time and part time programs into the same list of rankings.
