Hi.. I recently wrote GMAT[690[33V,49Q)]. I have just over two years of ex in the Mining Sector as Production Incharge. I would like to persue an MBA in Marketting and Operation Management. Could someone plzz guide as to which all colleges should I apply.
Also.. are loan easily available for the courses?? Money is certainly a primary consideration..

If money is your primary concern, please do me a favor. Rewrite the GMAT.
If you get 750+, your chances of getting a full ride in top 15-30 just increased by 10 fold.

You are very green with 2 years of exp., delaying MBA will actually helps you more since you barely went thought the ropes in your work place.

I have heard that a +/- 40 score does not matter much if u can come up with a good essay. I'm still unsure whether that is the actual thing... I plan to join an MBA programme with about 2.5- 3 years of exp.. What is the scope in non-US universities
Thanks and regards

Depending on what school you are going to. I actually have seen the 2005 GMAT distribution at wharton. So you are corret. Once you get lower than 680, you really need a VERY good eassy to get in. W class of 2006 has a mean of 713 and SD of 36. it means only 16% score lower than 670 (inclusive).

Non US school(AKA europe) has a lower GMAT but a high WE. so 2-3 years will be in the very low end of their WE.

Do you have to go to school now rather than later? MBA is about brand. A lower college will hit you in the short and long run. The official answer for all MBA school is that you can apply whenever you are ready but 3 years is on the low side still.
