Hi all,
I would like to know from all the guys who have given GMAT and are planning to apply to top colleges in US that how much does a AWA score matters in this. Does a low score like 4 to 4.5 in AWA affect chances from being rejected by top college even if the GMAT score is high. What exactly is the weightage given to this AWA score compared with the GMAT score. Also, i would like to know that how much time does a person need to spend for preapring for AWA. Thanks... |

According to me as long as ur AWA score is 4 or more , it should not matter much. The score out of 800 matters most.ADcoms know that AWA cannot be the real predictor of one's writing abilities , it being checked by computer software and one person who scores it according to fixed guidelines.
The key to score high is write the response in given context and try to write as much points as possible. Lenght do matter |
