Hi there, while I know that there are many things taken into consideration for getting accepted to a mba program. I know that transcripts, letters of recommendations and work experience are important and of course the gmat score are all part of these considerations. And while I know that all schools are different. My question is I have another Master degree in Counseling Psychology. My grades in post-graduate work avg about a 3.5 would you think that w/ this in mind that i could possibly get accepted to a school that says that the average of the gmat scores of the accepted applicants is a 600 and say I make below a 600 like in the 500's for example would having another post graduate degree make up for my lower than avg. score of accepted applicants. With all this said I have already had about 4 to 5 years work experience.
I say all this because taking standardized tests in something i am not very good at. This has been the case for me all my life. I have been prepping for the gmat for about 3 weeks now. I take my gmat in June and it gives me about another month and half to prep. While I know that i should keep a postive mind set and set my goals to score at least a 600, I am just trying to be realistic i guess. Any advice would surely be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
