School advice for joint MS/MBA
I am a senior Electrical Engineering major, graduating in May with ~3.7 GPA from #14 engineering school in U.S. (Texas A&M). My GMAT score is a 730. I have some very good extracurriculurs activities as well, and a 3-month engineering internship. Other than that, no work experience.
I think it would be valuable for me to pursue a dual MSEE and MBA, although I am not against just getting one or the other; I am also thinking doing a joint program will help my admission. Schools I was thinking of applying to are: 1. Georgia Tech (dual degree) 2. Rice (dual degree) 3. Columbia MBA (don't have joint program with EE) 4. Texas A&M MBA & MSEE (no joint program, have to choose one or the other) 5. University of Texas MSEE Are there any other schools that I should apply to? Preference to warm weather too, hehe ![]() |

For most school, you have to apply and admit individually for each program for joint degrees programs. Please read the fine print and make sure you can do so.(with one application)
Also, FYI, I think you should work couple years more before getting the MBA. Maybe you should get your MS first? |
