I work as a financial planning manager in the Treasury department in an Airline company.

I am planning to do my MBA in investment management next AUGUST 08

I have recently received a job offer in an investment bank, senior analyst..

My question is: How significant does this expriance (less than a year from OCT07-JUL08 as an analyst in an investment bank) help me in getting a good school in the US?

Appreciate your feedback.

Is the bank BB? or just some mid-market boutique? If BB, very important. If boutique than which airline do you work for?

Sorry but what do you mean by Bank BB?

I work for Gulf Air.. a regional airliner..

no its not BB, yet it is recognised in our reigon..

The position will not help you much since its a lesser name than your airline. I will say if you have free time, do more extraCurr instead. However, if you are trying to go to BB banking AFTER MBA, then you should try the regional ibank out.
