Please evaluate my profile
I am an Asian American female in my early 30's
Undergrad GPA: 3.2 UCLA economics WE: Almost 9 yrs in finance Extracurricular Activities: basically none Gmat: 690 48Q, 36V (2nd attempt in 2007) 520 (1st attempt back in 2003) What are my chances for Part-time Haas? Part time haas is doable but you have a checkerboard WE. Stanford is more than long shot, it is an EXTREMELY long shot. In fact, you will get in HBS before getting in Stanford. HBS is a very long shot as well.
If you are thinking part time Haas, Stanford sloan program might be earlier to get in at your age and WE. |

Thanks gmatbong. Do you know of any other MBA program in the bay area that fits my profile?
How important is extracurricular activities for these programs? Also, I know I can get a really good recommendation from my ex-manager. Would it be a big disadvantage if I don't have one from my current manager? I know he will give me a good recommedation too but just don't want him to know that I am considering leaving if I get into a full time program. Thanks again. |
