Talking Too old... what's my choice?

I am applying for three programs and want to know which one is the best fit for my profile.

Wharton EMBA (San Francisco)
Stanford GSB
Berkeley Weekend MBA (Part-time)

My stats:
U.S. citizen, age: 36, married with 3 kids
GMAT=760, GPA=3.72, Ph.D. in EE
10 years of experience in high-tech
Manager/director in high-tech startups
Experience in off-shore project management in China
Experience in international/industry standardization
Current position: staff architect at a Fortune-500 company

Status: mid-life crisis. Want to switch to venture capital or investment banking. EMBA seems to fit my age but I heard most graduates staying in the same field. What is the best option for career switch? I know it's a little late but that's just what I want to do at this stage.

Thanks,

KyleY

If you want to switch to VC, best option is to start a startup and then join a VC afterward. EMBA doesn't help you much on getting the VC job but can help you get your startup in tech going.

As for ibanking, you are too old for that since you are unlikely to work 14 hrs day with 3 kids.

Having said that, you could get into EMBA program w/ your stat but your career option after that is limited. Probably consulting field will be more likely.

For best career option, it will be the stanford one year sloan MBA program.
