Third round for International students

Hi GmatBong,

I have not written GMAT yet and not planning to write it within a month.

How good is the third round for international students? Can I just try my luck instead of awaiting for one more year? Please advise

Well depends on what school you are applying to, some schools recommend international students to apply by round 2, others do not have such a criteria.

Also depends on how long does it take for your counsulate to give appointments for visas and process them

OK..Thanks..If am already in US, I guess I can study with F1 receipt(without getting visa until I go out of the country). In that case, will that be fine to appy for third round?

I also suggest that you call the school and confirm

take into account that if you apply in the third round the most of the cuotas wil have been fulled so minor options to get it, but if you're not sure yet, it's better to wait till the third round.
