Need Evaluation of profile

Hi GMATbong,

I need you to kindly evaluate my profile and guide me in making suitable decision at this point in my career.

Work Experience: 12 yrs
Profession: IT
Status: US Citizen
GPA: 3.5
Education: bachelors in electronics

Target: 2009 admissions in top 15 B-schools.

Preferred colleges :

- Kellogs
- U Chi
- UCLA


I'm in the IT profession working and manage my independent consulting business for the last 6 yrs. Before that I was employed by an IT consulting firm for 6 yrs. I can finance the cost of my MBA program. I've not appeared for GMAT but have high confidence based on my sample tests can target 650-700 range. Dont have much extracurricular activities to speak of after college.

What are my chances for PT MBA vs EMBA program ?

What should I be doing to increase my chances ??

PT if you get 700, you should be able to get in. For EMBA, it depends but since you have your own firm and can sponsor by yourself, you have less of an issue than others.
