Evaluation Profile

I’m 29 and I’ve worked the last four years in Project Finance at the largest Investment Bank of Portugal (we were ranked the 6th project finance bank in Europe last year). I’ve worked in a lot of international projects (USA, France, Spain) mainly in Energy and Infrastructure sectors.

At this moment I am building a company together with some friends. Since it is a long term project I agreed previously with my partners that I would only 100% committed during the first year and I would apply at the same time to a MBA.

I’ve completed my under graduation in business management in the 10% top students. During university I founded a Cultural Association with activities connected to cinema and theatre.

I have letters of recomendation from my former Managing Director and from the Dean of my University.

I am planning to apply at IESE, INSEAD, LBS and Columbia. Can you please tell what are my chances and what is the minimum score on GMAT?

Many thanks in advance

Don't try to fix a score for yourself and you need to do your best. GMAT is required by all schools and the higher the better. Its like running a race, you don't just want to beat others, you want to beat world record.

Thanks, that is also my attitude.

Nevertheless, in your view, if a reach a good GMAT score, with my curriculum, do you feel that I have good chances on those schools?

There are lots of issues that is not score dependent. So after you get your GMAT, it depends on lots of other things like extraCurr and your essays.
