Hey all -- here is my profile:

-White, Male, 25 y.o.

-680 GMAT (81% Q/80% V)

-Mech Engr. Undergrad -- 3.2 GPA

-Plenty of leadership experience/activities, including president of fraternity, wrote for school newspaper, Varsity Cross Country, etc.

-Also have plenty of activities including triathlons -- completed an Ironman a few years ago.

-2 years work experience at the US Patent Office.

Here are some target schools:

-Carnegie Mellon
-Michigan
-Duke
-UVA
-UCLA
-UNC
-Georgetown
-Texas
-Emory
-USC
-Georgia Tech

What are your thoughts on these? I put a big range of schools here -- still, am I in the right ballpark? Can you ID which I have no/decent/medium/good chance at?

Also, how much does my W.E. kill my profile? Any other schools I should be reaching higher towards? Lower towards?

You actually have a good chance of getting into M7 schools so you should aim a little higher than your range of schools.
