Communicating with the college!

I heard its always a good idea to talk to your future college so that you know better of them and vice versa.
But i am concerned about what to talk about.

What should i be asking and what information should i be giving about myself to my future college?

I have about more than a year to join my business school and i want to communicate with my future school.

so what should i be talking about?
