Does working during college consider as xtra curricular? I'm talking about meaningful work- I worked for GM affiliate as an engineer during school year.

Thats sounds like work rather than xtra curr. More like an intern or co-op.

put it in your app and count it as work exp. (They won't count it as real work but semi work )

I agree with GMATbong that it sounds more like a job. But if you feel like your short on college extracurriculars, working, especially during the school year, is a plus for applications.
