I just took my GMAT and got a 640 ( Q48, V30), AWA 5
I was getting better scores in PrepTests. but did not perform well on the main day.....I am not planning on retaking the test.
My background-
Indian Female
i am planning to apply for Fall 09
Working as Software Developer in Infosys and by the time i join in fall 09, my WE will be 3 yrs. I havn't handled a team officially at Infosys but have done the same in the absence of my lead.

10th : 87%
12th :81%
BE - IT : 65%( pune univ)

Decent amont of community service - Sainik welfare, Hinjewadi Foundation
Member of ToastMaster's- given speeches, got best speaker, have taken up roles as well.
Part of NSS - Conducted rallies, clenliness drives and visits to orphanages
Vice President of Interat Club(part of Rotary Club) - for services.
Reperesented my school on the State Level being the VP
Active participation in culturals and debates. have won as well ( certificates avlbl)
Part of the Event organizing team at Infosys.
Working in an professional Event management Agency : i handle events there and work on weekends.
CERTIFICATIONS : JAVA, J2EE
American health Insurance Policy (AHIP) Part A
NSE certification

i wanted to know a few things
1) Genre of colleges i can apply to (which tier). please do answer this one !!
2) My experince will be considered till the time i apply or till the time i join the Bschool
3)Wanted to ask about univs in particular also -
a)University of Illinois- urbana champaign
b) Texas A & M ( iknow really tough)
c) Washington University ( St. Louis)
d) Boston Univ
any chances there????
Job prospects of Indians there after MBA and my profile.
