Hi,

I have 6 years of work experience but i have never been associated with a brand name. currently i am working with a company outside india however the company is small...though my client is a big name in insurance industry where i am full time employed but on the payrolls of this smaller company. can this prove as a deterrent in my application?

nope - as long as you have good experience (i.e. you were able to show leadership or some quality) - you have a fair chance
