How does admission school check for authenticy of application>
Just curious, how does admission committee determine whether the application is 100% authentic or a fabrication of lie? For example, an applicant may get his/her distant relatives etc to write a very good recommendation. Or applicant who may fabricate certain events?
Reason for my question: I do have a few minor community services, such as organizing an event for the local community. It wasn't any official event for any organization; more of an event organized by myself involving classmates. So although I can write a lot on the event (the work I've done, problems faced, how I show leadership etc), I can't really provide proof, no certificate of appreciation from anyone. It's just me and my friends and the local community. Anyone can help me with this ? |

Yale SOM has hired Kroll: Home. I am sure that other such b-schools also follow such procedures.
