Hello from Turkey,

GMAT:470 (q:42, v:15)
GPA:2,7(Because of strict Turkish Education system)
TOEFL:237
Work Experience:3 month(Ogilvy&Mather Advertising Agency)
as a assistant account executive

Can I apply to California State Universities with this scores?
My scores are enough for their minimum criterias.
However my index score is 1010, which they want 1050.
Thank you...

CSU will probably not take you. I met a woman who had *above* your stats who was rejected because of budget cuts.

A couple of years ago, you could've gotten into the CSU's, but this year, it looks pretty hard. You may want to try CSU Hayward, or just wait till next year. I think things'll be easier next year.

Oh, Golden Gate University will probably accept you, if you can afford it. They're desperate for students right now.

But Is it a very bad school?

I looked at their web site, their programs seem nice.
By the way, I am going to try csu hayward, fullerton, bakersfield and san bernardino. If they wont accept me, then I think I have to take this GMAT again

No, it's not a bad school, but it's not well regarded, unfortunately.

Depending on your stats, you may be able to get into one of those CSU's, especially if you have good work experience. I know more about the Northern California CSU's, of course, but I had a couple students go to Southern California because they couldn't get into the CSU's here in Northern California.

You do know that the the CSU's are generally looking for over 20%ile in the verbal section of the GMAT, right?
