There are lots of online schools to get your RN...but you need to have your LPN first. I will graduate in May with my LPN and then I'm moving on to my RN. I for one, wouldn't want anyone to be my nurse that got their entire nursing education online with nursing schools. You need to learn in a class room with everyone else and you need the hands on expierence. I don't care if you are an STNA...you're not a nurse. You need to think about these things before you sign up for anything online. If you're worried about being able to work and go to school, it can be done. The program I'm in right now is part time and I got on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is a program in Madisonville, Ky that has an RN program on the weekends. You just need to look in the right places.
