Well, as for my preparation, I went through CPR and APHA. Also, I used some Internet sources.
I had so much trouble analyzing a patient profile. I don’t even know why. Some profiles had too many meds from the same group, so it was difficult for me to choose the right one. Another thing is, I didn’t know some brand names, because I was concentrating mostly on the most common meds (200) but, unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. I guess, everything went wrong that day. I got discouraged much too fast, because I didn’t know the right answer , then I couldn’t concentrate on the rest of the questions. |

I appeared for NAPLEX today. The first q was really tough. I had lots of calculations of IV flow rate, Mili eq and also One ful case on Renal clearance of a drug, Also I had FEW QUESTIONS ON CLINCAL TRIAL INTERPRITATION.
I do not know how many i did correct as I found everything was new to me and I do not really know what will be my score. I personally feel I am going to fail for sure. This was my second time and i realy feel that There is hardly anything that we can use in real retail set up from NAPLEX test. Any other opinion? |

that's the thing. i didn't even had a chance to do internship before NAPLEX.
I think if I would do it first for sure my performance might be much better. I took MPJE recently.Don't know what to think. i hope I passed, but who knows. I made some stupid mistakes, but I realized that only after MPJE was taken. So, we'll see. |

hey tattoo, I am guessing you already did thy re-sit, how was it ? I also fail my 1st attempt but hey.. I fill better when I tell everybody! u will be surprise how quickly Earthlings r willing to help, and the % failure recently is so HIGH! I also feel like a bomber( 1st time failing an exam) but I realize i did not prepare in the right away, I thought it was a basic exam, but was rudely awaken. I need to spend 1 wk doing calc to develop speed and accuracy to be honest they were fairly easy but I take too long to get to the answer. so time ran out on me. and I know what you mean about drugs in the same class and they want u to pinpoint the drug causing the problem, when we r more farmiliar with class effect not spicific drug effect, I even got a molecule structure to identify the ring. Anyway I will pray that u do better at thy next try and i am sure u will pass this time.just remember the math ques carries a lot of weight in term of grades. so know those well!!
Any one in the connecticut area studying for resit? I want to do mine in end of Sept - Oct. e-mail at mzacca@gmail.com |

You might be surprised, but I still don’t have a courage to take the NAPLEX.
I haven’t done it yet, because I’m so scared to fail again. I read my books frequently, but I’m not really sure what to concentrate on. Although, I signed up for the test on July 6th, but I think I’m going to change that date again. I feel like I’m not ready and don’t know what to do with that feeling. The fact that I failed hit me pretty bad. I guess I need a little kick to move forward.:-)) |

hey Alinar, but it is that fear that actually cause you to blank out in these exams and contributes to failure! I realized I was not prepared to do this exam at all! I have been in communication with Buzz, the creator of PRONTO PASS and I am sorry I did not discovery him before now.He is so encouraging and I have ordered the PRONTO PASS COMBO and that is all I will be using to do this.I like it because it will take you step by step of hard studying in an organized fashion and advises u on how much time to dedicate to each area, that self testing cards are awesome!! I hope you have at least 40 hrs of Math practise under thy belt, that is whre the bulk of the marks come from... I though I failed terrible but still ended up with a 65 because I keep miissing the MATH ques. and another thing if you do not at least feel 90 % ready, put it off !! Anyway all the best on your next try. and prayer. works..

Hey, guys,
I took pre-NAPLEX yesterday, and I cored 91.I know that it’s not the best possible result but how good or bad is that? I scheduled NAPLEX on July 6th and I’m not sure if I should postpone it or not. Any advice? I’ll keep studying anyway of course. |
