Hey, guys,
I took my NAPLEX today. It was my second time . Well, what can I say? In my opinion, this test was much more difficult than the first one. I just keep my fingers crossed and pray for passing. To complete the picture, I haven’t’ even started my intern hours yet, which I think is such a stupid rule in my state. Do everything in 3 month or take your tests without any experience. It’s not fair and not logical at all. Anyway, I had a lot of math, statistics, clinical studies interpretation, HIV, cystic fibrosis and you name it.A little bit of everything. Honestly, statistic questions was a complete surprise for me. I didn’t read that chapter at all, that’s why I kept having questions from that topic again and again. Anyway, I just pray for 75, and I don’t need any more. |

Congratulation Kelly! That is so great..for the law, download from the Ct consumer protection website the state laws and I used Barry and Reiss for the federal law... It was a tricky exam..I have not gotten my results yet but will let you know.

Just checked my NAPLEX scores online and unfortunately did not pass. i don't know what to tell my H1B sponsors since i'm supposed to start working in October.
Most of my test was on calculations Meq, mOsmoles, some of which i knew but a lot of which i didn't. Time was running out and still more calculations. The pharmacy students that took the Naplex found it easy but i did not. I don't know how i'll start studying all over again, even though i know i am going to have to. |

Sorry about the bad news.
Here guys; Read or re-read your complete pharmacology notes or textbook(do chap.questions), cover every system (like a novel - no need to memorize). Things you are not familiar with check up. Sign up for Kaplan 1000+ Naplex questions (30days).As you go through the quiz make sure you understand why your answers are incorrect.Once complete take pre-Naplex twice. If average over 80% you are ready. good luck |

Hi guys,
It was my first exam that I`ve failed. Feel horrible, but I do cannot give up.I had lots of calculations which were not hard at all, but what I had a lot of was biogenic products(growth factors of all kinds, colony stimulating brand names,generics,purposes....lots of statistics with p-values and their calculations and interpritations from a large portfolios of information). I had 1 question on HIV-easy. Not even one on regular topics(HBP,Asthma,Diabetis),but lot of anticoagulants, childrens profiles and so on... I have to get myself together and through shame and embarassment do it again. May God be with me and you, guys! |

the trend here, I am realizing is the extra maths ques that most of us who failed get compared with the passers. I have had Earthlings telling me they only get 1 or 2 ques on math.. WE KEEP GETTING THEM WRONG SO THEY KEEPING GIVING US MORE! math ques carry a greater score... so my approach right now is to be doing lots and lots of math practice( 40hrs at least) to develop speed and just to know it as if it is second nature, so my advise to failure is to do the same thing...I using prontopass...a little weird but is doing the trick for me I am retaining the info better and there are numerous of cards on math pratice whick I will be doing after I know all the other material very well, then I will be just focusing on the maths! good luck to all I know the feeling of failing NAPLEX and it really s*^&ty..but it should make you stronger and more prepared next time around...GOD BLESS.
