If you perform better then test is design to ask you harder question on that topic. It looks like that in the test, at the beginning it is asking question from different topic. Based on your answers it knows that what are your weak topics. Based on that it is keep hitting you with that topic questions. I am seeing most of member who failed NAPLEX is because of maths. I think we can not ignore math hoping that test will not have maths questions based on other member's experience. But that is wrong assumption because exam tool will pick that up immediate. I don't think you can ignore any topic. So I am not going to ignore any topic.

Hey, guys, who didn’t pass this test from the first attempt, I know exactly how you feel, because it happened to me too. I have to go through this embarrassment again and I made it second time.
Also I scheduled my test on July 6th, and later realized that I’m not completely ready, so I wanted to reschedule it, but it was much too let according to the policy. So, I was completely confused and upset, didn’t sleep for 2 nights going over my pharmacy books. This time I concentrated more on antibiotics, more math problems, heart diseases, asthma, seizure and pretty much all main important chapters. I didn’t study HIV and cancer in details. Just on general knowledge.
I was more calm and confident this time, and it helped me a lot.
I didn’t get a perfect score, of course, but I did pretty well.
So , please, don’t get discouraged by this failure, just study more and you’ll be fine.

Hello guys ! I know that if you fail the Naplex ,you have to wait for 90 days before retaking the test.
Now my question is in case one fail it 3 times ,i know that your file will be closed and you will have to reapply like first time applyers.
but how long will you wait before been able to apply after failing 3 times ?
I am planning to take it next month.
Good luck everybody.
thanks.

Passed the Naplex finally! Thank God cos i just couldn't think of how to study a 3rd time.
The first few weeks after i failed the first time was very depressing, but i got over it as i came back to this forum to check for the right study materials. I had used only the Kaplan book ( not the lecture notes) which i got from amazon, a pharmacology text and CPR( flipped through only;big mistake).
The materials i finally studied with were :
(i) the Kaplan Lecture notes and QBank which i purchased from kaplan website.
(ii) APHA (read it twice)
(iii) Google and CPR

I compared topics like diabetes, asthma, htn, myocardial infarction (those are core topics) from each textbook.

Also, used Manon Shroff's Q&A , and its calculations book, which was my weakest area.

Overall, i just want to encourage anyone who has to take this exam again, just focus on knowing as much as possible, join a study group if it works for you, discuss topics because the more you talk about it the more you know it.
the Kaplan QBank has a range of questions (1000) that will cover certain areas that are not in your texts.

Take the Pre-Naplex when you feel you have covered all the topics you need to know especially from the APHA and KAplan Lecture notes. If your score is below or too close to 75, you definitely need to study more and change your reading strategy.

Prontopass is pretty good, a graphic way of learning for those who like to visualize. However it is expensive so it's up to you to decide.

Study hard, push yourself harder than ever, read over and over and MEMORIZE whatever you can, pray and your victory is onthe way!
