MA Board of Pharmacy Website to Determine Naplex Results

    Hi Guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me out or direct me in some way because I am a nervous wreck right now.

I took my Naplex on July 6th (Tuesday) in MA and today is Friday, July 9th. MA Board of Pharmacy has a website where you can check your checklist to see whether or not your Naplex portion has been completed and if it states "completed" then that usually indicates that you have passed...(or that's what I've been told)....Does anybody know what happens if you didn't pass?

My friends whom have taken the test with me at the same testing center or on the same date or around the same time, have all gotten their results as "completed' through this website already. Does this mean I failed if I didn't see it go through? Does anybody know what the turnaround time for result postings are?

Also, if PCS says that they got your results today, what does that mean in regards to the turnaround time for the Board of Pharmacy?

    Please help =[ Thank you!

I do know what you mean by "Completed" status. There is no status called Completed on MA state site. Only status you will see is "Current" or "Expired" for pharmacist. Also there is no way you get any update on MA state site until you pass both NAPLEX and MPJE. I do not believe that person gets the status update on MA site with in 3 days.

After you take any exam, PCS receives result in 2 business days from NABP. Then they update the status to MA state official and they generate the letter for you. You will receive letters from PCS about the result (they claim it takes 2 weeks but it all depends on your file. Some time you receive the result in 7 days and sometimes in 4 weeks). There is no connection on time you receive the result and pass/fail result. If you are waiting for the result of your first exam then only way you will receive the update is through PCS letter to you home.

If you have passed both the exams then may be (remember may be) 1-2 days before you receive letter, you can see "Current" status on MA state site. My result updated at late night and next day I receive the result. Also they lost one of proof so they ask for that first and once they receive that then only they release my result. It took 4 weeks for my result.

    Good Luck!

Okay, that is more clear than the process PCS provided. I originally thought that PCS gets the results the day I finish taking the exam.

I guess my question is, since my friends who took it with me on the same day whom also did NOT take the MPJE got their results (via that website which indicates "completed" next to the pass 75% Naplex section)...how come they got their updates already?

I'm trying to find any way possible to believe I didn't fail that exam...

    Thank you...

I do not know what website are you taking about. Beginning of 2010 there was only one place where you could check the status and that is MA state board. PCS was not providing anything for check the status. If I go to MA State website right now, I do not see any column where they can put NAPLEX so I am sorry I do not know what you are talking about.

Now for your result you need to wait for 2 weeks before you call them. Just keep hope.

    Good Luck!

    Temp:

There is a way to check, but only by the checklist referred to. It includes things like your application, fee, intern hours, etc, and then National Board Exam and Law Exam. After you take each one, and pass, each one is updated to "Completed" status.

What you are referring to is simply the license look up, which would only apply to see if a person has an active license.

    @MsRph:

Your best bet is to call the MA BoP directly, the office on Causeway street in Boston. I wouldn't say it means you failed, but calling may help more than sitting by guessing.

It took my friend 10 days, and others just a few days.

I don't believer there is any page on MA board site that can give you result of only NAPLEX. Only way you are going to get result in MA site is if you become the pharmacist. May be they are talking about NABP site but I would not know.

    Good luck!
