Hi Ninah,
I think acarbose(precose) is safe during pregnancy. Also, it comes under category B. Let me know your idea........

Hi YESYOUCAN,
you are right. of course, insulin is there. but, if they ask you about oral medicine, then only acarbose comes under preg. category B. so, besides the insulin, we can use acarbose. correct me, if I am wrong.

NAPLEX will not try to trick you. So I do not think you will have to make such a choice for a oral agent. It will be only insulin as THE answer.
