BE ALERT WHEN YOU ARE TAKING RX FOR ANTI-CANCER DRUG...ESPECIALLY RX INTERACTIONS.....
Never mix Warfarin and digoxin to any drug if possible. There are few internal drugs problems like never Cyclophosphamide with emend. Leucovarin tragedy with 5FU and MTX. ---------------------------------------- Don't mix together any with leucovarin. Try to do synergistm : Use leucovarin prior to 5FU Try to rescue MTX toxicity : Use after 24 hours from MTX use. Best luck guys.... |

Hi Gina, temp or anyone who can give me an answer.
I read in OTC chapter that nicotine patch/gum/lozenges help quit smoking cigarettes (not chewing tobacco, pipes or cigars) What would you suggest to a patient who asks you how to quit chewing tobacco? |

thanks bob, I asked my preceptor too, and he said that for chewing tobacco or cigarettes, it should be the same principle to help quit. He won't recommend the OTC as it is nicotine. He prefers recommending Chantix as he saw better responses. Any input?
