In my experience...Prontopass is just a suppliment and an aid to retain information that you have read in Apha. Prontopass alone is not enough. You have to read Apha too.
Pharmy83..... You seem to have had similar test like mine and with more math questions.... that is a good sign. Keep confidence....i am sure you will pass. |

Congratulations Rekha on passing the exam. I just gave mine yesterday and don't know what to say. Maths was fine but I guessed a lot of pharmacology and patient profiles.
How soon can you get the result ? Is there any way to check from internet before we get the letter? Thank you. |

hiPEBC.....It took about 4 days for me. i live in PA. In PA you have to wait for the result in the Mail. But in some states you can check your results on the state's pharmacy Board website. Again as Temp mentioned it depends on the state. All i know is NABP sends the result to your state board in approximately 1 business day. If your math was fine .... you have a very high chances of scoring. I will pray for you. Good luck.

Hi I can do it,
I remember you too. I don't know how well I really did because I guessed on many questions and applied logic on some though I am not sure that was correct or not. That is why I am waiting for my result. The maths was reasonable though I did have some questions from kinetics which I had not prepared. There were questions from everywhere (you should not leave anything out) but there were more questions on commonly found diseases here like blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, endocrine drugs and even AIDS and oncology. There were many many patient profiles ,several one line questions and maths. Some questions test you on pharmacy practice. These are things you learn in internship. Some herbals, antibiotics, adverse reactions, allergies among others. I used APHA only since I had only that book. The book is good for foreign graduates since it tells what to tell the patient on important drugs. Also revise from your college notes if you have any. It may be easier to learn from books you are already familiar with. I am now waiting for my result. Best of Luck for your exam! |
