Class I and II institutional pharmacy?
Hi
I have a trouble with understanding a class I and class II institutional pharmacy. Can anybody give me examples of each? My guess is that hospitals are class II. How about class I? Thank you, |

Class I is for show only....
Pharmacy only administer drug from individual container. They can not count and dispense medicines like retail pharmacy. Class II is like hospital pharmacy.... Pharmacy which can dispense med to only INPATIENTs.. But in emergency... they can dispense 24 hr supply to outpatients... Modified class II pharmacy.. Pharmacy with some flexible rules (no space requirement, couselling area etc.)...check the FL BOP site..
